Here is a picture of my needleroll for Marijke. The exchange was through the Crafty Natter forum, and the roll is a Shepherd's Bush design - 'English Christmas Cushion'.

Crazy 7 RR

This is a pic of the latest RR piece I have stitched on...It is from Cross Stitch Crazy mag, and we are completing a Crazy 7 RR based on one of the mags' '7' series.

My stitching has really gone out the window at the moment due to work commitments, but I'm hoping I can keep going with it. I have also finished a needleroll, but I can't post a picture of that until the recipient has opened it on Christmas Day...

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

SBEBB Harvest Time Exchange for Vonna

Having heard that Vonna has received her exchange, I can now post pics. I made a flatfold, using Lizzie Kate's 'Autumn Sampler' Snippet, and a scissor keep using a freebie acorn design. I also included a Little House Needleworks chart that I knew Vonna wanted from looking at her blog:

I'm glad you liked it, Vonna...

SBEBB Harvest Exchange

Here is the lovely parcel I received from Marie today:

The Scissor Pocket is adorable - it is a Heart in Hand design (Harvest Home Sampler):

It certainly puts my effort to shame - pics when I know it has arrived...

Crazy 7 RR

This is my Cross Stitching.com Forum 'Crazy 7 RR' piece - I'm having the Dancing Ladies as my theme:

I will upload some more pictures as soon as recipients get their exchange, or I finish another RR piece...(If Blogger will let me upload them - had problems over the past few days.)

A month...?!

Doesn't time fly...?

I can't believe it is over a month since I last posted on here. Work has taken over my life again, I think!!!

I have been stitching - trying to complete RR pieces, ready to send on, and sort out exchange pieces. I will try to upload some pictures later.

You Are Midnight

You are more than a little eccentric, and you're apt to keep very unusual habits.
Whether you're a nightowl, living in a commune, or taking a vow of silence - you like to experiment with your lifestyle.
Expressing your individuality is important to you, and you often lie awake in bed thinking about the world and your place in it.
You enjoy staying home, but that doesn't mean you're a hermit. You also appreciate quality time with family and close friends.

Rotation Change

As I am now back at work, and stitching has to take a back seat, I've decided to change the time frame for my rotation....

I'm now going to spend 10 hours on each design before swapping over to the next one.

The rotation currently stands at:

1. L&L 'Song of Christmas'
2. Mystic Stitch 'Noelle'
3. Cross Stitch Collection 'United in Love'
4. Heritage 'Lancashire Map'
5. Round Robin/Exchange stitching

Update pictures coming soon...

My First Biscornu

I've put the rotation to one side for a couple of days while I completed this:

It is my first Biscornu, and the design is a freebie from Lekker Threads. I think it could have done with a bit more stuffing inside it, but for my first effort, I'm impressed...I think I'm hooked!!!

First Rotation HD

I've finished my first piece from the rotation - Footprints by Praying Hands:

I'm going to have a go at a Biscornu in its place....I'll let you know how I get on....

These are most of the pieces I am stitching in rotation...I have just started the second round, and it seems to be going well so far...

My new rotation plan

I have decided to use a rotation plan to try to finish some of my WIPs and UFOs. I am going to work on a nightly plan, with 6 items in the rotation. Item 1 will be stitched on the first night, item 2 on the second night, and so on. As items are completed, new ones will be put in their position in the plan.

Hopefully this will work, as I am currently stitching willy nilly, and nothing is getting finished...

My rotation list is on the right hand side of the screen...

Adia - framed

Adia has finally been framed, and I have a camera to take a picture of her...unfortunately, the picture does not do justice to all the beads and metallic threads in the design.

Another finish

This is Bent Creek's Winter Row - another UFO finish! This has been stitched using WDW and GAST threads, which give a lovely effect.

Isle of Skye

This is a map of the Isle of Skye that I stitched as a Christmas present for my parents. It is finally framed and hung on their wall...

Bee My Friend

This is my first finish this year - I have been completing some RRs, and also busy working. This is a Margaret Sherry design that I started this time last year, whilst on holiday in Crovie, Scotland, and it has been a UFO since then.
I'm hoping to get some more UFOs finished during the summer break...
