Well, I've had a lovely week off work this week, and have managed to get quite a lot of stitching done. I have only worked on 'In the Arms of an Angel', so have made good progress...
I have also booked our holiday for next year - a week in New York in August...I can't wait! I've never been further than Amsterdam before, so going all the way to the US will be fabulous. We are hoping to go and see a show and take a helicopter ride over the city whilst there...It will be our first holiday on our own, as the kids are staying at home that week. We had to cancel our holiday this year, as the kids decided that they didn't want to go to Scotland and stay in a cottage, so it was cancelled. As they will be 21, 20 and 17 by then, we decided it's about time we started going on holiday without them...
I'll hopefully update next weekend...
Happy Stitching!

Your stitching's looking lovely, and well done on the holiday as well, sounds very exciting!
Lovely progress Lynn. Missed you at the meet up. Your hols sounds great. We nearly got to New York once but we cancelled as it was the time of the twin towers incident and was too freaked out to go. x
Seriously, this is so lovely...all the rich, gorgeous colors!
Great progress :-)
You will have a wonderful time in NY, me and my eldest went about 5 years ago, we both would love to go back (any room in your case lol)
Great progress, and such exciting plans for your next holiday. Wish I loved closer to New York and could meet you!
Wow, I'm really jealous about your trip to New York - it will be brilliant! Great progress on your angel and I hope you have enjoyed your week off, I know I have :)
Beautiful progress on your angel! Congratulations on booking your holiday! I just got back from NY and had so much fun that I need to start planning my next trip! :)
Great progress on your Angel. The holiday sounds fabulous. My DS is 24 & still won't take the hint about holidays. LOL :0)
Your stitching is looking fabulous. I'm not surprised you're excited about New York. I'd have gone to Scotland with you! The kids don't know what they're missing :P
